All I want for breakfast is...

my little Gerber baby! I seriously nibble on him all day long. I was watching him nibble on a banana mum-mum and his little face just makes me so HAPPY! Such a sweet way to start this Good Friday.
Chubby little hands, and fingers that look like ice cream cones ;)
His little teeth peaking out.
Poor baby, those top teeth have been causing pain!
Delicious lips, and tiny mouth!

A little of our own March Madness~

STM has a BiG St. Patrick's Day celebration.  It's a free dress day, there are plenty of treats floating around, followed by a parade, and judging for Crazy hat day!  Crazy hat day=HUGE, CrAzY, FuN, creative, and a wee bit intense event.  There are different categories for the hats, most fluffy, cloverest, creative, sports theme.  I am forgetting a few others.  The judging is done by the 8th graders.  Liv and 3 of her classmates wanted to have one BIG hat for the 4 of them to wear.  So, with the help of a few other moms, we put together a hat for most cloverest, and the girls won =)  It really is something to see some of the hats parents/kiddos put together, some are unreal.  This year there was a hat that was a ferris wheel, it was awesome!
Pretty cute right?!
I love that I am Irish, and part Hispanic too!  The older I get the more I appreciate culture!  It is tradition that my cousins and I get together each year for a little Irish cheer, and sometimes even an Irish dinner.  This year there wasn't a dinner =(  But I did meet my lovely cousins for a cheer.  Next year I hope to host a fun, and traditional Irish dinner.  My Dad is so funny, he always says "you know they don't make such a huge deal over St. Patrick's Day in Ireland."  I know he's right, it is kind of funny.  But I do think it's great to celebrate a man who spread the word of God, sharing the gospel to non believers in Ireland, among lots of other things he did(and at such a young age!)

These are just a few goofy pictures I took of the kids last week~while they were clearly going through the kreb cycle ;). They get a little stir crazy lately, and I cannot blame them. Who wants, cold, windy, raining, snowing weather in March? Anyhow Nolan came flying around the corner into the kitchen cracking himself up informing me that he had his shirt on his bottom and his pants on his head ;) and then Liv joined in. They were dancing, laughing  howling, and sweating up a storm.  They thought they were the funniest kids on earth.
You can tell they were being little stinkers, it's all in the eyes :)
I think my portrait days are over with these two.  They are always asking me to take a picture of them while them make goofy faces.  And then they want to look at them so they can crack themselves up.

A man worth celebrating!

Shane's BiRtHdAy was simple & sweet. The kids get so excited for birthdays, especially when it comes to their parents. It's pretty sweet to see how special it is to them, and watching them celebrate their hero. Olivia picked out the bIrThDaY decor ;) We had a nice little evening. Was a fun night with our Party of 5!

Little Hunk is 7 months old~

I can't say much because it really does tug at my heart strings that my baby is already 7 months~I am having a hard time with it.  So for this post, it's pretty much just pictures.  Gave him a baby mohawk after his tubby.  I love him, his is filled with sweetness!!!  He is such a gift to this family.

STM AUCTION~2012

This year the theme for the St. Thomas More auction was 1920's.  It was fun putting together an outfit.  Most of us were in drop waisted, or flapper style clothing, and men in suits, and fedoras.  The Italian dinner is always Y-U-M-M-Y!  I was on a couple different committees this year, so it REALLY gave me a chance to see what goes on behind the scenes, and how much work goes into making this event happen, and to be a success.  I felt like I had a part time job working on things over the last couple of months.  I am already thinking about ways to help for next year.

It's hard getting away for the night without the kids, especially leaving Leo, we are pretty much a package deal.  I figured as long as he was well nursed he would be okay for a few hours, but I was wrong.  He has major separation anxiety right now and doesn't like being away from his mama, I didn't get to stay as long as I'd hoped this year, which was a disappointment.  I scarfed my yummy dinner down, and missed one of my favorite things, dessert.  There's always next year, and the next ;)  we have many more auctions in the future.

All in all, it was a fun night!  Most importantly, a wonderful event/cause in supporting the kids' school.

The new CrAzE going on in my household ;)

While I would never trade my love for vampires and werewolves, I have to say that I am becoming equally obsessed with Downton Abbey. I have read about the show for the last several months, and last year when my family was visiting from Canada, they mentioned how much they loved it. Well, I finally started watching it a few weeks ago and was instantly hooked! I finished Season 1 within a couple weeks, and am now on to Season 2. I LOVE everything about it!  It is such a great story line, although there are many, which makes it even more interesting. It takes place in Great Britain in the early 1900's(WWl.) The setting is beautiful, and most is filmed in a GORGEOUS castle, which in the show is called Downton Abbey. Actors are amazing. I absolutely love that era, the clothing, hairstyles, and so on. I am not all that surprised that I liked it so much. I love movies like Sense and Sensibility(one of my favorite movies,) anything written by Jane Austen. This series reminds me of the stories she's written. Awww, and the love stories in Downton Abbey=so pure(for the most part,) traditional, sweet, innocent. I love that a kiss would mean proposal, or holding hands is taking it a step further. Nothing like the trashy reality television that is mostly aired these days, yuck, and no thank you. I was talking with my sister in laws last weekend, neither of them had watched it yet, but were eager. I talked to Tabitha on Saturday and she's already on Season 2~she is loving it, and is just as hooked as I am. So, if you haven't already watched it, I would say you are missing out...if you like this kind of old fashioned stuff ;)
