STM has a BiG St. Patrick's Day celebration. It's a free dress day, there are plenty of treats floating around, followed by a parade, and judging for Crazy hat day! Crazy hat day=HUGE, CrAzY, FuN, creative, and
a wee bit intense event. There are different categories for the hats, most fluffy, cloverest, creative, sports theme. I am forgetting a few others. The judging is done by the 8th graders. Liv and 3 of her classmates wanted to have one BIG hat for the 4 of them to wear. So, with the help of a few other moms, we put together a hat for most cloverest, and the girls won =) It really is something to see some of the hats parents/kiddos put together, some are unreal. This year there was a hat that was a ferris wheel, it was awesome!

Pretty cute right?!
I love that I am Irish, and part Hispanic too! The older I get the more I appreciate culture! It is tradition that my cousins and I get together each year for a little Irish cheer, and sometimes even an Irish dinner. This year there wasn't a dinner =( But I did meet my lovely cousins for a cheer. Next year I hope to host a fun, and traditional Irish dinner. My Dad is so funny, he always says "you know they don't make such a huge deal over St. Patrick's Day in Ireland." I know he's right, it is kind of funny. But I do think it's great to celebrate a man who spread the word of God, sharing the gospel to non believers in Ireland, among lots of other things he did(and at such a young age!)
These are just a few goofy pictures I took of the kids last week~while they were clearly going through the kreb cycle ;). They get a little stir crazy lately, and I cannot blame them. Who wants, cold, windy, raining, snowing weather in March? Anyhow Nolan came flying around the corner into the kitchen cracking himself up informing me that he had his shirt on his bottom and his pants on his head ;) and then Liv joined in. They were dancing,
laughing howling, and sweating up a storm. They thought they were the funniest kids on earth.

You can tell they were being little stinkers, it's all in the eyes :)

I think my portrait days are over with these two. They are always asking me to take a picture of them while them make goofy faces. And then they want to look at them so they can crack themselves up.
